The engagement: A time of spiritual preparation
Preparing for marriage spiritually helps couples become more open and receptive to this spiritual dimension of marriage. Learning to love and be loved by God helps Christian spouses love one another more and more deeply—and that makes for a stronger, happier marriage.
Marriage Encounter

“Sharing your concern for strengthening marriage and family life, a pressing and urgent challenge at this time, our national leadership team for World Wide Marriage Encounter has some good news for you. We will be offering a virtual WWME experience April 19-21st, 2024, which will make it possible for couples in more remote areas to take their relationship to a higher level.
I have personally helped deliver a half dozen such weekends, and find it has the power to transform relationships as much as an in-person experience.
The wife of a retired military man gratefully shared on one such weekend that she had cried, prayed and pleaded with him for 50 years, and even tried marriage counselling to no effect, and lo and behold, by Saturday night on their weekend, he opened up and started sharing his feelings.
All couples need do is get on the WWME website and register, and they can benefit from the experience right in their homes.
