Welcome to St. Paul Roman Catholic Parish, in Fort McMurray, in the middle of Athabasca oil sands, surrounded by boreal forest. This parish has been a spiritual home to faithful families from many cultures and backgrounds. What began as a small but hopeful community has grown into a vibrant and diverse parish united by one faith, one Lord, and one mission.
As Pastor, I am deeply grateful to serve a parish that reflects the beauty of the universal Church. Our diversity is one of our greatest blessings. We come from different nations, speak different languages, and bring rich cultural traditions. But we gather as one family at the table of the Lord. Together, we celebrate the Eucharist, grow in faith, and support one another through life’s joys and challenges. Whether you are a longtime parishioner, a newcomer to the area, a returning Catholic, or someone simply searching for a place to belong, we are truly grateful that you have found your way here.
